Cardinals stumble at Park Center

One week after its first win of the season, Coon Rapids (1-5) returned to the loss column, losing at previously winless Park Center (1-5) 34-27.

The Cardinals were without the services of sophomore standout Antonio Ford, making way for classmate Mo Ward to run for 99 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries.

Senior quarterback Brandon Flippen completed 10-of-17 passes for 149 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Junior receiver Malcom Farley pulled in five catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns with the other touchdown reception by senior Collin Euteneuer scoring on his only catch of the game, 38 yards for the score. Senior Jeremy Oakley had three catches for 32 yards.

Twenty-seven points is the most scored by the Cardinals in a loss this season.
